FAQS

Some common questions regarding the NDIS

  • NOPE - You absolutely dont need a support coordinator - and i know it seems weird to say that here! However whilst a COS is not 'necessary' it is SUPER HELPFUL!

A support coordinator, does just that! COORDINATES YOUR SUPPORTS. This means running around after the providers and keeping an eye on things. To make sure YOUR GOALS are being met.

  • A plan manager actually and literally manages the bills and payments. A support coordinator, researches the supports you need and brings them all together.

  • Sadly no it doesn't and any and all supports that you receive are based on your primary diagnosis. However, if that changes, a CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCES can be applied for. However, it will require additional reports and assessments, to back the changes up!

  • It must seem like it does, but all thoughts, changes and requests. Have to go through a process, that takes into account, your goals and your funds and what all your providers/specialists say. So sadly, it takes longer than we imagine.
